EA Sports FC 26 is nearing its end, but a final Ultimate Team promo is reportedly on the way. With five weeks left until EA FC 27 launches, the Rewind event is expected to arrive as soon as Futties concludes, just before the new Premier League season begins.
According to various insiders and leakers, Ultimate Team players could see up to 500 cards available in packs during the promo. Unlike typical end-of-season events that focus on current team upgrades, Rewind is set to celebrate the entire FC 26 campaign, giving players one last chance to build their dream squads.
EA FC 26 Rewind release date and time
The promo is scheduled to land on Friday, August 21, at 6pm BST, which translates to 1pm EDT and 10am PDT. This timing coincides with the Premier League curtain-raiser, where champions Arsenal face newly-promoted Coventry City.
As with all campaigns, Rewind will replace the final Futties Team 4 in Ultimate Team. Available player items, objectives, and Squad Building Challenges will update at that time.
EA FC 26 Rewind leaks and expected content
Prominent leakers such as AsyFUT Trader and FUT Police on X claim Rewind will feature more than 450 player items in packs, with some suggesting the number is closer to 500. All player item rarities are expected to have full chemistry, removing a key squad-building limitation.
Leaked players with predicted overall stats include:
- CB: Ingrid Engen (Lyonnes) - 96 overall
- RB: Joao Cancelo (Barcelona) - 97 overall
- LB: Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich) - 98 overall
- CM: Scott McTominay (Napoli) - 98 overall
- CAM: Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - 99 overall
- ST: Ousmane Dembele (PSG) - 99 overall
These items are expected to use designs from some of the players' most popular variations, such as Bruno Fernandes appearing as a Winter Wildcards item. New Icon and Heroes cards are not expected to feature in the promo, though they may appear in SBCs or objectives.
Additional features and SBCs
Further 99-rated player items are set to be included in SBCs, with Rafael Leao among the rumoured names. A new FUT Gauntlet is also expected during the Rewind promo.
Additionally, a significant Evolution twist is anticipated, with the PlayStyle Lab reportedly evolving once more. All Rewind cards are said to be eligible for up to five PlayStyles+, giving players even more squad-building options.
