Diablo 4 Switch 2 leak hints at September release

Diablo 4 is reportedly coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in a matter of weeks, nearly three years after its launch on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. According to renowned insider Bilbil-kun, writing for Dealabs Magazine, the Diablo 4 Age of Hatred Collection will be announced during BlizzCon 2026 in September.

Release date and pre-orders

Bilbil-kun claims the collection will land on September 15, just two days after BlizzCon ends on September 13, with pre-orders expected to open during the event. Official confirmation could also come during GamesCon in Cologne in the last week of August.

What's included and pricing

The Age of Hatred Collection includes the base Diablo 4 game plus the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions. Dealabs reports it will cost £62.99 and be available in physical and digital editions. The physical release will follow the GTA 6 route, with a code for a digital download inside the box instead of a cartridge.

Packing hundreds of hours of story content, two full expansions, and the latest patches into one £62.99 package makes the collection an attractive proposition for Switch 2 owners. Details on crossplay and performance are yet to be confirmed, but the Switch 2's capabilities should ensure a smooth handheld experience.

Previous leaks and impact

This follows earlier hints, including an April listing by an Indonesian ratings board for the Lord of Hatred DLC with a Switch version, and a later Taiwanese board rating for Diablo 4 on Switch 2 that was quickly removed. The release would fill a major RPG gap in the Switch 2 lineup and could be a commercial win for both Blizzard and Nintendo.
