Coronation Street fans are convinced that a shock affair is on the horizon for Kit Green and Bethany Platt, with a potential pregnancy twist that could leave Sarah Platt livid.
Kit (Jacob Roberts) arrived on the cobbles in 2024 as Bernie Winter's estranged son and quickly became embroiled in major storylines. Currently, his girlfriend Sarah (Tina O'Brien) is in prison for the murder of Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), whom she killed in April after hitting him with a metal pole on scaffolding.
Kit's Scheme to Free Sarah
Despite Sarah's attempts to cover up the crime with the help of Gary Windass (Mikey North), the truth emerged, and she was sent to prison. In recent episodes, Kit has been determined to frame Gary for the murder instead. He enlisted Sarah's daughter Bethany (Lucy Fallon) to help, and after initial hesitation, she agreed to assist in hopes of freeing her mother.
In Monday's episode (August 10), Sarah was seen with a bruised face in prison, which she downplayed when Bethany visited. The ongoing drama has sparked fan speculation about Kit and Bethany's relationship.

Writing on a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one person said: “How long until Kit and Bethany’s affair?” Another added: “Yeah it’s definitely happening I can see it.” A third speculated: “Perhaps Bethany gets pregnant by Kit?”
Others echoed these thoughts, with one fan writing: “She’ll probably get with Kit and gets a bun in the oven… please not…” and another saying: “She’s going to sleep with Kit and gets pregnant.”
