BBC's 'Wolf' praised as essential viewing for Luther fans

The BBC crime thriller Wolf, adapted from the novels by Mo Hayder, has been described by viewers as "compulsive viewing" and "absolutely seamless" as it becomes available to stream on Apple TV.

The six-part series, which first broadcast in 2023, stars Ukweli Roach as DI Jack Caffrey, a detective convinced his neighbour killed his 10-year-old brother in the '90s. The cast also includes Iwan Rheon as Molina and Sacha Dhawan as Honey.

Two intertwined narratives

The programme weaves together two distinct narratives, alternating between Caffrey's own sinister pursuits and the lives of the Anchor-Ferrers family, a wealthy, secluded family in Monmouthshire who become victims, finding themselves trapped and tormented by someone's sadistic mind games.
