Thomas Nicholson, best known for playing Kevin Myers in the American Pie films, will bring his band to Gateshead later this year for a live set and fan signing at HMV in the Metrocentre on November 13.
The Hollywood star rose to global fame after American Pie was released in 1999 and went on to appear in sequels American Pie 2, American Wedding and American Reunion. Music has long been a passion for Nicholson, who released his debut album Without Warning in 2008.
World tour brings band to the North East
Nicholson and his band are currently promoting new music on a world tour that will bring them to the UK in November, with dates in Bradford, Coventry and Swindon. The Metrocentre HMV will host the Gateshead performance, where the band will play a live set and meet fans.
Joining the bill for the special event will be North East musicians Mitch Laddie and Matt Fairley. Further details are still to be confirmed.
Fan reaction to the announcement
After HMV shared news of the gig on Instagram, one fan commented: 'Absolutely LOVE this. If he can bring Tara Reid anaw that’d be cool.'
