Winter Wonderland Wirral, a festive event featuring an enchanted illuminated woodland light trail, an Alpine Christmas market and Santa's Grotto, will transform Birkenhead Park from Thursday, December 10 to Sunday, December 13.
What to expect at the event
The event is from the producers of the popular New Brighton Family Food & Drink Festival, and the team behind Yay Wirral and This Side of the Water have told followers to expect their "biggest and most exciting event yet."
According to a joint post on their Instagram pages, the event will include an enchanted illuminated woodland light trail, Alpine Christmas market, main stage packed with festive entertainment, festive food village and bar, winter funfair, Santa's Grotto, snow globe, owl sanctuary, and more.
Tickets and dates
Tickets are £4 per person until September 11. After this date, tickets will increase to £6 per person. The booking link is available on the Winter Wonderland Wirral Instagram page.
Producers Jess Waring and Kate Corcoran shared a joint statement ahead of the event's reveal: "We've been working away behind the scenes on something really special for Wirral this winter."
"We can't give too much away just yet, but we can say that this is without doubt our biggest and most exciting event to date. We're incredibly excited - and maybe slightly terrified! - to finally start sharing what we've been planning."
Event opening times
Winter Wonderland Wirral will run from Thursday, December 10 to Sunday, December 13. Opening times are 4-9pm on Thursday and Friday, 12-9pm on Saturday, and 12-7pm on Sunday.
