Salt and Tar 2026 drinks prices as Bootle music event kicks off

Salt and Tar Music Weekender has returned to Bootle, with the first of four nights of live music starting on August 13. The event has gone 'on tour', travelling down the canal to its neighbours at the Lock and Quay's evening site, while works continue to expand its home site.

Performers and venue

Music legends will take to the stage for the four-day event, including Billy Ocean, The Waterboys, Saw Doctors, and Nile Rodgers and CHIC. The ECHO attended the opening night, which was set to host Billy Ocean.
