Royal Ascot 2026 Day Three: O'Brien's 100th Win

Royal Ascot 2026 racing results in full from Day Three. Master trainer secures 100th winner on a wonderful third day of action at the biggest flat meeting of the lot.

Aidan O'Brien smashed a magic milestone on a blistering day three at Royal Ascot. The master Irish trainer was celebrating after landing the headline race of the afternoon with Scandinavia landing the Gold Cup. Not only was the 11/8 favourite his 10th winner of that specific contest, it was O'Brien's 100th overall at the Royal meeting.

Scandinavia's brilliant triumph in a cracking battle with Trawlerman came after son Joseph had also trained another winner at the meeting with Enceladus impressively scooping the King George V Stakes.

Fozzy Stack's Nola Soul took the opener, while William Haggas landed the Ribblesdale with the Wathnan Racing-owned Earth Shot, with a trio of outstanding winners closing out the day.

Once again, the crowds were out in force at the Berkshire venue with two more excellent days still to go.
