The Polar Express Train Ride Experience at Edinburgh's Waverley Station is currently on sale through Wowcher, reduced from £68.63 to £39 depending on the date, a saving of 43 per cent.
The festive experience, based on the 2004 film following a young boy's journey to the North Pole to see Santa Claus, sees ticket holders step into the world of The Polar Express. Actors, music and live interactive performances feature throughout the journey.
What the Experience Includes
Train riders can enjoy rich hot chocolate and a sweet treat served onboard, which helps bring the magic of the film to life. Actors will portray the beloved Conductor, playful Chefs and other familiar faces.
Comfort is key, with guests encouraged to dress down in pyjamas and dressing gowns to fully embrace the Polar Express tradition.
Dates and Booking Details
The event will take place from November 27 to December 30, making it an ideal, cosy day out to get ready for Christmas. The entire experience lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, according to Wowcher, and the train ride itself lasts just over an hour.
Neither Wowcher nor the event's website has any reviews, which may be a consideration for families with younger children who may struggle to sit still for the duration.
