The line-up for Neighbourhood Weekender 2027 has been announced, with Courteeners, Paul Heaton and The Reytons confirmed as headliners. The festival will return to Victoria Park in Warrington on Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30, across the May bank holiday weekend.
Hometown appearance for Rick Astley
They will be joined by The Vaccines, Kingfishr, The Royston Club, Gabrielle, Badly Drawn Boy and Warrington-born singer Rick Astley, who will make a special hometown appearance. Other acts confirmed for the weekend include The View, The Coral, Professor Green, Girl In The Year Above, Seb Lowe, Keyside, Esmerelda Road, Mel Raeburn and The North.
Organisers said feedback from the 2026 festival had helped shape plans for next year's event, which will be expanded to welcome music fans of all ages.
Children's tickets introduced for the first time
For the first time, dedicated ticket prices will be available for children aged 10 and under, covering both weekend and day tickets. A maximum of two children's tickets can be purchased per adult aged 18 or over. All attendees must have a valid ticket, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Courteeners return to the festival's main stage following the release of their debut album St Jude in 2008. The Manchester band have sold more than one million albums in the UK, with their last four studio albums reaching the Top Five.
Paul Heaton and The Reytons complete the bill
Paul Heaton will also headline, joined by vocalist Rianne Downey. The singer first rose to prominence as frontman of The Housemartins before forming The Beautiful South in 1988. Across both bands, he has been behind 23 albums, with five reaching No.1 and combined sales of around 15 million. His latest album, Jenius, produced by Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie, recently became his first No.1 solo album. It was released almost 40 years after The Housemartins' debut album, London 0 Hull 4.
The Reytons will complete the headline bill. The South Yorkshire band have released four studio albums, including their latest, A Love Letter To A Broken Town, and have previously topped the UK Albums Chart and appeared as festival headliners.
Rick Astley will perform at Victoria Park as part of the weekend's line-up. The Warrington-born singer reached No.1 in 25 countries with Never Gonna Give You Up in 1987 and has since released a series of successful albums and performed at major festivals and arena shows.

Tickets for Neighbourhood Weekender 2027 go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday, September 4. A local presale for residents with WA1-WA5 postcodes will open at 9.30am on Wednesday, September 2.
