Kate Moss has reunited with her beloved Hunter boots more than 20 years after wearing the brand to Glastonbury in one of the most famous festival looks of all time. The 52-year-old model has partnered with Hunter for its fall/winter 2026 Iconic by Nature campaign, celebrating the brand's 170th anniversary.
In 2005, Moss wore a pair of tall black Hunter wellington boots to the British festival, which was very muddy that year after rain. The look has become an iconic festival outfit that many still recreate today.
Campaign imagery
Moss was photographed cutting various poses outdoors in the brand's attire. One shot showed her lying back on a brown leather chair, wearing denim shorts and Hunter boots. Another photo showed her sitting up in a tree while clinging onto a branch, and a third showed her on a sofa. The model has not been photographed in her famous Hunter wellies until now, all these years later.
Moss on her Hunter loyalty
Moss reflected on her fondness for the brand and the time she wore the boots at Glastonbury in 2005. She said: "I’ve been a loyal fan of Hunter for years, ever since the festival where I wore them with way too short shorts and a waistcoat.
"I was just about to leave the house and heard it was already knee-high in mud in the fields. I went to my trusted Hunter Wellies in my closet. They were black, tighter to the leg, and waterproof. Bingo!"
Brand statement
The new campaign "honours the past while looking firmly toward the future" and "captures the individuality, instinct and effortless attitude that have long connected Moss and Hunter". The company, now owned by Authentic Brands Group, said the campaign "brings together two British icons to mark a defining anniversary and celebrate a relationship more than two decades in the making".
