Leeds Festival is entering its final day, with Sheffield band Bring Me The Horizon set to headline tonight. While thousands watch from the main arena, hundreds of VIP guests have been enjoying the comforts of the exclusive backstage guest area.
The guest area features a private bar stocked with alcoholic and soft drinks, including Casamigos tequila. A live DJ plays until well after the headline act finishes, and last night the crowd danced to tracks from Pulp, Erasure, and other Britpop acts.
Food options are available, including chicken rice bowls with choices such as Korean BBQ and Vietnamese sweet chilli. Guests may also encounter some of the weekend's performers; yesterday, the Merseyside band Red Rum Club were spotted in the area.
Surrounding the space are posters from previous Reading and Leeds festivals, showcasing lineups that have included Pulp, Oasis, Stereophonics, Blur, Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Jay-Z.
Reading & Leeds recently won the Innovation Award at the UK Festival Awards 2024 for the groundbreaking Chevron Stage, which features immersive lighting and stage design that redefines what is possible for an open-air venue of its size.
The festival takes place Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th August 2025 at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.
