Eurovision 2026: Dates, Times and How to Watch in the UK

The 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna, Austria, in May 2026, following JJ's victory at the 2025 Grand Final with their operatic ballad, Wasted Love. BBC Studios is once again producing the BBC’s coverage of the event.

The Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday 16 May, with the Semi-Finals on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May. Both Semi-Finals will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and BBC One at 8pm, with commentary from Rylan and Angela Scanlon, live from the Wiener Stadthalle arena. Each Semi-Final, hosted by Austrian stars Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, will feature performances from the pre-qualified Big Four countries and interval acts. Ten contestants will be eliminated across the two Semi-Finals, leaving 25 competitors for the Grand Final.

UK viewers can vote in the second Semi-Final, where the UK act LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER will perform his song Eins, Zwei, Drei for the first time on the Eurovision stage, before competing in the Grand Final. The Grand Final will be hosted by Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, with commentary from Graham Norton. The opening act, The Queen of the Night, will see 2025 winner JJ perform a Mozart-inspired piece with over 40 dancers and acrobats, introducing the 25 Grand Finalists in the flag parade.
