A range of firework displays will take place across Bury for Bonfire Night 2026, including the return of a popular Heaton Park event. Bury Council is not hosting any events itself, but several community and sports venues have scheduled their own celebrations throughout the borough this month.
Heaton Park Display Returns with Free Entry
Heaton Park will host its fireworks on Saturday, November 7, with free entry. Although there will be no bonfire, attendees can enjoy two separate displays: a reduced-noise show at 5pm designed for families and SEND audiences, followed by the main fireworks at 8pm. A lantern parade is also planned.
Sports Clubs and Community Events

That event features fireworks, fairground rides, food and drink, and a DJ, with tickets priced at £10 per adult, £4 for under-14s, and £24 for a family of two adults and two children.
Sedgely Park RUFC will host fireworks, children's entertainment, and food and drink on Friday, November 6, at Park Lane, Whitefield. Tickets cost £10 per adult and £2.50 per child.
