The Blackpool Airshow is set to return on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026, featuring some of the world's finest military and civilian aircraft performing over the iconic seafront. The event showcases the best in British aviation with an incredible line-up of flying machines and skilled pilots.
Star Attractions and Performers
The Red Arrows will feature in this year's line-up, appearing on both days, along with the RAF Typhoon display team. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, featuring the iconic Spitfire, Hurricane, and C-47 Dakota, will also pass over the Lancashire town.
Also on the bill are the Red Devils, the official parachute display team of the British Army, formed in 1979. The team of 15 highly-skilled paratroopers will deliver an adrenaline-pumping performance for attendees.
Airshow Village and Amenities
Visitors can browse the Airshow Village along the Blackpool Promenade, where there will be various vendors, exhibits, and food and drink stalls. The village will be open from 10am to 6pm on both days.

Getting There
One of the easiest ways to get to the airshow is by train. The nearest station is Blackpool North, just a ten-minute walk from the seafront, North Pier, and Pleasure Beach. Travellers are urged to book tickets in advance as services could be busy due to increased demand.
Another option is to travel by coach, with regular services running from Manchester to Blackpool, offering a similar travel time to the train. For those driving, follow directions to the postcode FY1 4BJ, then follow local signs to the nearest parking locations. Expect heavy traffic due to the airshow.
