Judge Jules will take to the stage on Sunday as the headline act for the third and final Bents Park Live concert of the summer in South Shields. The event brings together a host of dance icons, with Ultrabeat, Phats & Small and Sweet Female Attitude also performing.
Line-up and previous crowds
The concert series has already drawn large crowds for performances from Joe McElderry and ABC. Sunday's show is expected to see the largest attendance of the year so far. The event follows a Pride in South Tyneside special on July 19 headlined by Joe McElderry, and last weekend's ABC and Chesney Hawkes show.
Banned items at Bents Park
As with the previous two weekends, bag searches will be carried out on entry. The following items are not allowed into the park:
- Glass bottles, jars, glasses or containers. Alcohol is allowed but must be in cans or plastic.
- Large suitcases or oversized bags or backpacks. Anything larger than 40cm (H) x 40cm (W) x 33cm is prohibited.
- Large trollies or carts that exceed the event size restrictions
- Tents
- Windbreakers
- Bottle openers
- Corkscrews
- Any item that may cause a security risk or obstruct walkways
- Drones
Tickets and dogs
Tickets are priced at £5, with some concessions, and are still available online. Limited tickets can also be bought from The Word until early Sunday afternoon. Gates open at 12pm.
Organisers advise against bringing dogs to the concerts due to the noise and large crowds. Anyone who does bring a dog should keep it on a lead and remain on the outskirts of the main crowd to avoid causing a hazard.
