10-hour open air rave set for Tyne Bridge in Gateshead

Plans have been revealed for a massive 10-hour open air rave set to take place under the Tyne Bridge in Gateshead on Saturday, September 26. The event, named Side Quest, will be held on the Gateshead Quayside site by the River Tyne and will feature seven different stages with a packed line-up of DJs.

Seven stages and over 70 acts at Side Quest

Organisers Big Fat Rave have teased what to expect from the event, posting: "This is a collaborative effort built from ground up by 1000’s of creatives, from all levels & walks of life. We are extremely proud to say there are 7 stages of music at the very first Side Quest fezzie! Alongside a whole container park full of weird & wacky side quests."

The event will feature over 70 DJs and bands, more than 140 actors, 24 hidden Side Quest zones and more than 23 rave crews. Tickets are on sale now priced from £22.50, with options for cheaper entry for those arriving before 3pm.

Line-up revealed for the Tyne Bridge rave

The line-up for Side Quest festival was revealed earlier this week. The main stage will include sets from Origin8a & Propa, Hardcore Energy, Neenzy and Da Demolition Squad, while Level Up's bill includes Annie FM, Becky Woodcock and Matty Jones amongst many others.

The Cooking on Gas stage is set to feature DJ Bootyshake, NATO North East, JustB and DJ Dizzle, with the Live & Direct, Record Box, Open Decks, Sound System and Zentopia stages also set to keep revellers entertained from afternoon into evening.
