London Fashion Week kicked off its spring/summer 2021 collections on Friday, bringing a host of dapper street style stars to the capital. Physical shows from Burberry, Bora Aksu, and Mark Fast were among the highlights, with Burberry becoming the first brand to live stream its show on streaming app Twitch.
British brand Halpern, known for its high octane glamour, presented a film featuring key workers modelling its glitzy spring/summer 2021 collection instead of professional models. Meanwhile, Molly Goddard, famed for her love of tulle, showcased a digital presentation that included her debut collaboration with UGG.
Victoria Beckham is being forced to showcase her collection virtually today, marking the first time the designer has not been supported by her family on the front row. In a twist, Meghan Markle favourite Roland Mouret eschewed his biannual London Fashion Week show in favour of showcasing his newest collection on Amazon Prime.
