Mary Fowler, the Matildas and Manchester City star, made her catwalk debut for L'Oréal during Paris fashion week. The 22-year-old footballer, who signed with the cosmetics company last year, walked alongside ambassadors including Kendall Jenner, Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren and Gillian Anderson at the event held at the Hotel de Ville.
Fowler, who is recuperating from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament sustained in an FA Cup match in April, described the experience as 'a little outside of my comfort zone' but praised the focus on women's empowerment, inclusion and sisterhood.
Speaking before the show, Fowler said her recovery was on track and that being ready for next year's Asian Cup was a 'big motivator'. She added: 'I'll be back whenever my body is ready.' Her rehabilitation includes gym work, jumping and landing exercises, running and cycling.
The L'Oréal runway event, now in its eighth year, took place during the spring/summer 2026 womenswear showings but is not part of the official Paris fashion week calendar.
