Lisa Snowdon appeared absolutely sensational as she modelled her latest swimwear collection for Bonmarche on Instagram this Monday. The This Morning presenter, aged 54, who recently opened up about gaining three stone due to menopause, looked incredible in vibrant two-piece sets priced at just £33.

Stunning Swimwear Display

Lisa posed confidently in a bold blue striped triangle bikini top paired with matching high-rise bottoms, showcasing her remarkable figure transformation. The ITV personality, famously known for her five-year relationship with George Clooney, later channeled Baywatch vibes in two striking red swimsuits from the collection.

Menopause Weight Journey

This campaign follows Lisa's candid revelation about her menopause experience. She admitted not realizing her weight gain initially due to not owning scales at home, but became "astonished" when she gained three stone in her mid-40s and could no longer fit comfortably into her clothes.

Transformation Through Lifestyle Changes

Now looking better than ever, Lisa attributes her weight loss success to intermittent fasting and mindful eating habits. The television star expressed contentment with being "a bit bigger now than she was in her 20s," considering this her new normal.

Intimate Struggles and Recovery

Lisa previously revealed how menopause severely impacted her sex life, stating that "wanting to bounce around the bedroom just wasn't on my radar." She described how hormonal changes affected her eleven-year relationship with fiancé George Smart, causing her "mojo" to disappear completely.

"For women, sex is such a mental thing, and when I didn't know what was happening to me, the last thing I wanted to do was get sexy between the sheets. I was just trying to put one foot in front of the other each day," Lisa explained candidly.

Supportive Partnership

She credited George, whom she first dated over twenty years ago during her MTV DJ days and reunited with in 2014, for providing crucial support during her most challenging periods. Lisa acknowledged being "a bit of a b****" at times due to frustration and mood swings, but praised George's patience and understanding throughout.

"I lashed out, and it was horrible when those sorts of rages just took over me," she recalled. "Thankfully, George was super understanding and never made me feel pressured. He always knew there was something else going on. He was incredible, he still is."

Diagnosis and Treatment Journey

Lisa first noticed peri-menopause symptoms over a decade ago, with the most difficult period being misdiagnosed with depression in her early forties. After experiencing anxiety, low moods, and uncontrollable emotions, she found herself weeping in her doctor's surgery at age 42, unable to explain her profound sense of being lost.

"I just remember bursting into tears. It was the first time I'd acknowledged that I'd hit rock bottom," she revealed. Although prescribed antidepressants, Lisa's intuition told her something else was occurring.

HRT Breakthrough

In 2019, Lisa received definitive confirmation she was experiencing full-blown menopause. After numerous symptoms including poor sleep and skin changes, plus thousands spent on private doctors, she finally obtained her diagnosis and began hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Only after starting HRT, which replaces estrogen and progesterone hormones to alleviate menopause symptoms, did everything begin making sense for Lisa. Her libido gradually returned, though she emphasized this required "a journey of communication, patience and feeling confident and connected again in myself and my body."
