A group of American tourists visiting Bath decided to sample a full English breakfast for the first time, after being urged to do so by locals. They documented their experience on Instagram, sharing their honest reactions with thousands of followers.
The trio, led by Amber Kacherian, ordered a classic fry-up at a local café. One of the friends, Blake, was the first to try black pudding, but immediately grimaced and spat it out, declaring: 'What the hell? We will not be having any of that.' He placed the remainder on a napkin and pushed it aside.
Amber opted for a pancake with syrup, noting it was sweeter than the American version. She was intrigued by the accompaniments on offer, including honey, peanut butter, jam, and Marmite. However, viewers pointed out that these are typically paired with toast, not pancakes.
Blake then sampled Marmite on toast, describing the taste as 'sadness' and 'not as bad as that' (referring to the black pudding). His friend Jared tried it too, remarking that it smelled like 'burnt yeast' and tasted 'strong'.
The group had mixed reactions to other components. Amber enjoyed beans on toast, saying she 'really liked' the combination.
