Bobby Brazier's Gucci Catwalk Return at Milan Fashion Week Post-EastEnders

Former EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier has traded the fictional streets of Albert Square for the prestigious runways of Milan, making a surprise appearance at Milan Fashion Week for luxury fashion house Gucci. The 22-year-old, who exited the BBC soap last year, walked barefoot in a glittering lace ensemble, marking a significant return to the fashion world after focusing on acting in recent years.

From Soap Star to Fashion Icon

Brazier, the son of presenter Jeff Brazier and late reality star Jade Goody, has been modelling since age 16. His latest catwalk moment came on Friday 27 February 2026, when he participated in Gucci's show during Milan Fashion Week. The National Television Award-winner wore a long-sleeved lace top and matching trousers, showcasing a bold and ethereal look that captivated attendees.

Behind the scenes, Brazier shared glimpses of his preparation on Instagram, including videos of him hyping up with headphones and having his hair styled. The collection also featured inspiration art and final runway shots, giving fans an intimate look at the high-fashion event.

Support from Strictly and EastEnders Circles

Social media buzzed with support from Brazier's peers. His Strictly Come Dancing partner Dianne Buswell joked, "I want to say I taught you that walk! All seriousness I’m sooooo proud of you Bobsta." Soap star Patsy Palmer added, "Love you beautiful boy," while Layton Williams commented, "Oh werk."

Father Jeff Brazier posted a heartfelt tribute, calling it a "pinch me moment" and expressing pride in his son's achievement. He noted, "To walk for @gucci in Milan!! It’s his most loved brand and I know how much it meant to him too." Jeff also reflected on Jade Goody's absence, stating, "her amazing genes live on in both of her boys."

Fashion Week History and Acting Career

Brazier first debuted at Milan Fashion Week in 2020, walking for Dolce and Gabbana. From 2022 to 2025, his focus shifted to acting, as he portrayed Freddie Slater in EastEnders. His exit was announced in June 2025, with his final episode airing in December. Brazier remarked on his last days on set, "I've tried to cherish it as much as I can. I've enjoyed it more the last three months than I had done previously."

Gucci's New Era Under Demna

The Gucci show marked the debut collection under new creative director Demna Gvasalia, known mononymously as Demna. The Georgian designer, previously co-founder of Vetements and creative director of Balenciaga, presented a lineup that included iconic models such as Kate Moss, Emily Ratajkowski, Karlie Kloss, and Hailey Bieber, alongside Brazier's standout appearance.

This event highlights Brazier's successful transition from television to high fashion, reinforcing his status as a versatile talent in the entertainment and modelling industries. His return to Milan Fashion Week after a hiatus demonstrates his enduring appeal and the fashion world's embrace of his unique style and background.
