Aimee Osbourne, the rarely seen daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, has given a rare interview for a new documentary about the final years of his life and career. The film, titled Ozzy: No Escape From Now, will be available for streaming on Paramount+ globally from October 7.
The documentary covers the last six years of Ozzy's life, including his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease in 2020, major spinal surgeries, and a fall at home in 2019 that exacerbated injuries from a 2003 quad bike accident. Aimee reflects on the fall, saying: 'He was in hospital for weeks. To fall like that and not be able to bounce back like he had in the past, and then having to cancel the tour - that was his biggest heart-break.'
Despite his health struggles, Ozzy managed to perform one final show at Villa Park with the Back To The Beginning concert, which took place weeks before his death on July 22, 2025. The performance featured both solo numbers and tracks with the original Black Sabbath lineup. In the film, Ozzy says: 'If my life is coming to an end I really can't complain. I've had a great life.'
The documentary also includes interviews with Ozzy's wife Sharon and their children Kelly and Jack. Sharon discusses periods of depression following the fall, saying: 'At that time, the depression was so bad. [He'd] be like what's the point in even getting up?' Kelly recalls driving her father to recording sessions with producer Andrew Watt, which led to the 2019 single Take What You Want with Post Malone. Ozzy describes the collaboration as 'the best medicine I ever had at that point.'
Producers note the film was 'never intended as a posthumous film' but now serves as a tribute to Ozzy's 'courage, wit, determination, and talent.'
