The world's largest bouncy castle is making its UK debut this summer, with organisers predicting it will become one of Britain's top attractions. Known as Mega Bounce, the inflatable playground arrives in July for an exclusive six-week residency at Braintree Village in Essex.
Massive Scale and Features
Covering 2,500 square metres and standing over eight metres high, Mega Bounce includes giant slides, obstacle courses, sports challenges and dedicated bouncing arenas. The attraction opens from 18 July to 31 August, transforming a space near the shopping centre into a festival-style hub with food vendors, games and live music.
Adult-Only Events
Once family sessions end each evening, the venue shifts to adults-only events featuring DJs, karaoke, a fully stocked bar and late-night festival vibes. Selected Saturdays host foam parties with high-energy bouncing and immersive foam effects.
Each bounce session offers unlimited access for 60 minutes. The day starts with calmer sessions for those preferring a peaceful atmosphere, then transitions to all-ages sessions with music, lighting and entertainment.
Organisers call it one of the biggest family-friendly launches of the summer break. Josef O'Sullivan, centre director at Braintree Village, said: "After the success of The Monster at Braintree Village last summer, we wanted to come back with something even bigger and better this year. Mega Bounce making its UK debut here at Braintree Village is incredibly exciting, and we expect to see visitors from far and wide."
The bouncy castle previously operated in Dubai. Guests can also enjoy giant Jenga, Connect 4, ping-pong, food stalls and drink vendors across the event arena.
O'Sullivan added: "We're certain that this is going to be one of the best attractions available in the country over the summer holidays."
Standard admission tickets cost £18, with discounts for larger groups and Braintree Village PLUS+ rewards members. The attraction is open daily from 10am to 9pm.
