A food blogger who managed to get her hands on a viral Caesar salad wrap has given her honest review on the product - as well as how difficult it was to actually get it.
When a restaurant goes viral, it inevitably draws crowds of people, which usually means long queues, hefty waiting lists, and sometimes even price rises, at least until the hype dies down. But one woman has taken to social media to document the entire process of visiting a viral Caesar salad wrap joint in London and has given her honest review on the experience.
The Queuing Experience
Angelina, who regularly posts reviews of new and trending foods, shared a TikTok video documenting her visit to CZER, a tucked-away counter nestled inside the Mayfair Food Fayre convenience store in London, which has been sending the internet into a frenzy with its Caesar salad wraps.
Angelina revealed she rocked up at 10:30am on a Sunday, a full half hour before the shop opened at 11am. She assumed she'd be first in line, but was left stunned to discover a small queue of eager customers already gathered outside.
Despite arriving early, she didn't start her timer until around 10:55. Though the queue snaked out considerably, staff made their way down the line handing out Dubai chocolate and energy drinks to waiting customers. Roughly an hour after starting her timer, she finally reached the front of the queue.
The Wrap and Verdict
She filmed herself picking out a packet of salt and vinegar McCoys crisps to go in her wrap, which added an extra satisfying crunch. She paid £14.25 for the meal, with the entire experience from joining the queue at 10:55 to walking out with her food clocking in at one hour and 10 minutes.
In a follow-up clip, she declared the wrap was "so good" and unlike anything she'd ever tried before. She said: "There's the perfect amount of sauce in there. It's cheesy, but not too cheesy. It's so refreshing as well. I actually can't fault it. Well, the only thing I can fault is that I queued for an hour for it. But was it worth it? I feel like yeah. A solid 9.2 out of 10."
Public Reaction
Viewers were divided in the comments section. While some reckoned it looked "delicious" and well worth both the wait and the price tag, others insisted they wouldn't dream of queuing for an hour for any food. One person said: "To be fair, that wrap looks good and I'm not even a massive fan of Caesar salad." Another added: "I might have to travel to London just for this." But a third disagreed, writing: "Absolutely no way I'd wait one hour in line."
CZER opens at 11am every day, and while it is open until 7pm, it seems you need to get there within the first few hours of it opening - and perhaps even queue up before the doors unlock - if you want to beat the crowds and secure a wrap.
