Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left furious after an early leak of the results revealed which celebrity will not make it to the final. One viewer described the elimination as the 'biggest robbery in Strictly history'. The leak came ahead of Sunday night's results show on BBC One.
Saturday night's musicals week saw Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin score a perfect 40, while Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caplan also impressed. However, the leaked dance-off result has sparked outrage on social media, with one fan posting: 'The British public actually disgusts me #strictly'. Another wrote: 'Now that is the most shocking Strictly elimination EVER to happen #strictlyspoiler'.
A third viewer added: 'This is a joke... This is the biggest robbery in Strictly history for me. I've watched every episode of every series of this show but I'm done with this series. Devastated honestly.' Another said: 'Absolutely abysmal spoiler result... I am SICK.'
The leaderboard after Saturday's show placed Amber and Nikita top with 40, followed by George and Alexis, Balvinder and Julian, and Lewis and Katya all on 35, with Karen and Carlos bottom on 34. With such close scores, many were shocked by the elimination.
Amber Davies had earlier warned of the competition's unpredictability, saying: 'You just never know. The competition is so unpredictable.' She added that she was taking it one week at a time after seeing Vicky Pattison go from top of the leaderboard to leaving in a single week.
The Mirror has chosen not to reveal the eliminated contestant until the official results show airs at 7.45pm on BBC One.
