Strictly Come Dancing fans are concerned that professional dancer Johannes Radebe may be leaving the show after an emotional speech during Sunday's results episode. The episode saw actress Alex Kingston eliminated after losing the dance-off to Balvinder Sopal.
Following their elimination, Radebe told host Tess Daly: "Bye to my Strictly family, I love you. To my Strictly family, I'm forever grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you." The comments prompted cheers from fellow professionals but sparked speculation among viewers.
One fan wrote on X: "That sounded like a final farewell from Johannes! Is he going? Due to musical theatre." Another added: "I got the feeling that it's Johannes' last series? Because it seemed like he said goodbye to the pros and judges and everyone?"
Radebe is currently starring in the UK tour of Kinky Boots as Lola, and is set to reprise the role at the London Coliseum in March next year. His memoir, Jojo: Finally Home, was published in 2023 and is being developed into a musical film.
Fans also expressed disappointment at Kingston's exit, with one saying they were "absolutely devastated." Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
