Strictly's La Voix Joins 2026 Live Tour After Injury Forced Exit
La Voix Confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour

In a dazzling turn of events, Strictly Come Dancing favourite La Voix has secured a spectacular new role, being announced as the first celebrity confirmed for the show's highly anticipated 2026 live tour. This news arrives mere days after a devastating foot injury forced the Drag Race UK star into an early exit from the BBC competition.

From Setback to Spotlight: The Tour Line-Up Revealed

The performer, whose real name is Christopher Dennis, will be lacing up her dancing shoes once more, this time on an even grander scale. She will be joined on the dance floor by Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who also had his main show journey cut short due to injury. Reuniting with their professional partners, La Voix will dance with Aljaž Škorjanec, while Harry will be partnered with Karen Hauer.

The spectacular tour is set to kick off in January 2026, with the dazzling ensemble travelling to major arenas across the UK. The schedule includes performances in Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Nottingham, and London's O2 Arena. They will be accompanied by the formidable judging panel of Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood, with It Takes Two host Janette Manrara also joining the travelling party.

A Triumphant Return After a Tearful Exit

Expressing her joy, La Voix said, 'I loved being part of Strictly and was devastated when my time on the show was cut short because of injury. But now I’m absolutely thrilled to have the chance to get back on an even bigger dancefloor.' She added her excitement about 'sashaying' around the country with her 'wonderful partner, Aljaž'.

This announcement marks another significant career high for the drag artist, coming hot on the heels of the news that she will star as Miss Hannigan in the UK tour of the musical Annie. Her Strictly exit was an emotional moment for viewers, as she fought back tears during her farewell, calling the experience 'extraordinary'. She was medically advised to withdraw after injuring her foot in rehearsals, tragically missing the chance to perform at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Heartfelt Tributes and Fan Adoration

Her professional partner, Aljaž Škorjanec, paid a moving tribute, stating he had 'made two friends for life' and that La Voix had made his life 'a joy'. La Voix told him she would leave the show 'a braver, happier and such a more confident person'. Their final dance saw Aljaž tenderly scooping her off her feet due to her injury.

Fans flooded social media with support. One admirer wrote that Aljaž's speech was 'absolutely beautiful', while another declared they had 'adored La Voix being part of the show'. A fifth fan astutely predicted, 'I somehow don’t think that’s the last we’ve seen of La Voix on #Strictly… They seem to really love her.'

La Voix's sudden withdrawal from the competition meant that none of the remaining six couples were eliminated that weekend. In an Instagram statement, she shared her devastation but thanked everyone for their 'sparkle of support'. Her departure followed earlier exits due to injury from former Love Island star Dani Dyer and Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis.
