Happy Mondays icon Bez, along with several 90s dance music legends, has been added to the Parklife line-up ahead of this weekend's festival in Manchester. The event, one of the largest metropolitan music festivals in the UK, returns to Heaton Park on Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21.
Headliners and Main Stage Acts
This year's Parklife will be headlined by Calvin Harris, Skepta, Zara Larsson, and Sammy Virji. Across five main stages, attendees can enjoy performances from Nia Archives, Rudimental, Chris Stussy, Ewan McVicar, Morgan Seatree, and Manchester's own Josh Baker.
New Panorama Stage
A new Panorama stage has been introduced, revamping the popular Hangar area. It features a massive 100-metre curved LED screen wrapping around the stage and exclusive behind-the-booth access for VIPs.
Beatbox Stage Throwback Acts
The Beatbox Stage will host a host of throwback artists. On Saturday, UK garage act Artful Dodger will perform at 3pm, known for their 1999 hit "Re-Rewind" with Craig David. Happy Mondays legend Bez will deliver a special DJ set at 5.30pm, followed by Baby D at 6.45pm, best known for the 1992 anthem "Let Me Be Your Fantasy."
On Sunday, DJ Fat Tony, a fixture of the UK nightlife scene since the late 1980s, will take the stage at 5pm. Renowned DJ Carlos Willengton, famous for his 80s sets in Uruguay and Spain, will play at 6.30pm. The Funkmoore Brothers will also perform throughout the weekend.
