'Saturday Night Live' has announced the hosts and musical guests for the first three episodes of its upcoming 51st season. The season premiere on 4 October will be hosted by Bad Bunny, with Doja Cat as musical guest. This marks Bad Bunny's second time hosting the show, having previously served as both host and musical guest in 2023. Doja Cat will make her 'SNL' debut; her fifth album, 'Vie', is due for release on 26 September.
The second episode on 11 October will feature former cast member Amy Poehler as host, with Role Model as musical guest. Poehler, who was on the show from 2001 to 2008, will be hosting for the third time overall and the second time solo. Role Model will make his first appearance as musical guest; his song 'Sally, When the Wine Runs Out' recently topped Billboard's Adult Alternative Airplay chart.
On 18 October, Sabrina Carpenter will pull double duty as both host and musical guest. This will be her first time hosting, though she previously appeared as musical guest for the Season 49 finale. Her album 'Man's Best Friend', released on 29 August, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Lorne Michaels created and executive produces 'SNL', which is produced in association with Broadway Video.
