Netflix has announced that the third season of its romantic drama My Life With the Walter Boys will premiere on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The streaming service also released first-look images teasing the aftermath of Season 2's dramatic finale.
Season 3 Release Date and Episode Count
The upcoming 10-episode season continues the story of Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez), a New York teenager who moves to Colorado after her family dies in a car accident. She becomes entangled in a love triangle between brothers Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry).
Netflix had greenlit a third season before Season 2's release, and a fourth season is already in development for a 2027 debut.
Season 2 Cliffhanger Recap
Season 2 ended with Cole and Jackie confessing their feelings for each other, unaware that Alex was listening nearby. Their father George (Marc Blucas) was simultaneously rushed to the hospital.
First-Look Images and Cast
New photos show Cole and Alex confronting each other after the revelation. Series regulars returning include matriarch Katherine (Sarah Rafferty), Cole's ex-girlfriend Erin (Alisha Newton), his twin brother Danny (Connor Stanhope), and Jackie's friend Skylar (Jaylan Evans).
Cast and Crew Tease Emotional Season
Ashby Gentry told Netflix's Tudum: "Everyone's reality has shattered a little bit, and they're picking up the pieces of that and trying to put it back together again."
Showrunner Melanie Halsall described the premiere as "emotional" and added: "A lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up." Halsall also noted that Cole and Alex share similarities as "adrenaline junkies" and "competitive" individuals.
Noah LaLonde emphasized the brothers' underlying bond: "That's been at the heart of all of this for three seasons now. It kind of cuts through a lot of the BS."
