Cineworld has announced the return of its popular £1 Family Films promotion, offering discounted tickets every week from July 25 to August 28, 2025. The scheme allows families to see a selection of classic and new family-friendly films on the big screen for just £1 per ticket.
The programme includes titles such as Disney's Snow White, Paddington in Peru, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Moana, and A Minecraft Movie. Cineworld said each week will feature a different family favourite, encouraging audiences to “be more childish – together”.
In addition to the cheap tickets, the cinema chain is offering a Family Special deal. Holders of a £1 Family Film ticket can purchase a regular popcorn, two regular soft drinks and two Munchboxes – all for a set price, with the option to upgrade to a large for an extra £2. Munchboxes are described as “packed with fun snacks for kids” and are also available separately for £4 for Movies For Juniors ticket holders.
The promotion is designed to provide affordable family entertainment during the summer holidays, with Cineworld aiming to attract more families to its cinemas across the UK.
