The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Trailer Drops: Final Season Promises Drama and Surprises

The trailer for the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty has been released, teasing more romantic turmoil for protagonist Belly Conklin. The series, based on Jenny Han's novels, returns with a two-year time jump after season two ended with Belly choosing Jeremiah Fisher over his brother Conrad.

Author Jenny Han has hinted at "surprises" in the upcoming season, which will adapt the third book in the trilogy. While Belly and Jeremiah share many scenes, Han told Entertainment Weekly that Belly's heart remains conflicted, leaving room for potential reconciliation with Conrad.

Cast members have expressed confidence in staying true to the source material. Jeremiah actor Gavin Casalegno told People that Han is "strong on staying as true to the books as possible," while Lola Tung (Belly) noted the books provide a "solid blueprint." The series was renewed for season three in August 2023, before production was delayed due to industry strikes.
