Meryl Streep Returns in First Full-Length Trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2

The first full-length trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has been released, offering a closer look at the much-anticipated sequel. In the promo, Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly and Stanley Tucci’s Nigel reunite with Anne Hathaway’s Andy and Emily Blunt’s Emily, though Priestly appears not to remember them—or her habit of calling all assistants Emily.

The teaser trailer, released in November, became the most-viewed comedy trailer in 15 years, with 181.5 million YouTube views in its first 24 hours. The new full-length trailer has already clocked 2.8 million views in nine hours.

The sequel to the 2006 hit will be released in Australia on 30 April, and in the UK and US on 1 May. New cast members include Kenneth Branagh as Priestly’s boyfriend, along with Sydney Sweeney, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak and Pauline Chalamet. Lady Gaga will make a cameo appearance.
