Reaction and Comments
Scott Perry, Chief Marketing Officer at Fox's Burtons Companies, said: "This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting biscuit collaborations of the year. Following the hugely successful launch of Maryland S'wich last year, we're excited to bring fans an entirely new flavour experience with Terry's Chocolate Orange. It's a collaboration that brings together two iconic British brands and delivers a delicious combination of chocolate, orange and cookie in every bite."
Shoppers responded enthusiastically on Instagram, with one user declaring: "They don't want us to stay fit for summer!" Another wrote: "Noooo stoppp is this real?" A third exclaimed: "We need to try these!" while a fourth simply commented: "Need."
History of Terry's Chocolate Orange
Terry's first produced its Chocolate Orange at its factory in York in 1932. Production moved to several European facilities in 2005, before consolidating into a single factory in Strasbourg, France, in 2018. Prior to the chocolate orange, the company sold a chocolate apple, and in 1979 introduced a chocolate lemon, which was discontinued after three years.
