Sunday Brunch host Tim Lovejoy congratulated his co-presenter Yinka Bokinni just minutes into the July 19 episode, following her announcement earlier in the week that she is expecting her second child.

During the Channel 4 cooking programme, Lovejoy presented Bokinni with a white baby grow featuring the show's logo. The gift came after Bokinni, 37, shared her pregnancy news on Instagram on July 14, posting a video from her ultrasound scan.
As Lovejoy handed over a gold box containing the newborn outfit, Bokinni exclaimed, "Oh, this is so cute!" The studio audience erupted in applause. She then joked, "I don't think this is going to fit me, Tim. You should have got a different size, I'm a growing lady!" Lovejoy responded with a simple "Congratulations anyway," to which Bokinni said, "Thank you!"

The episode featured chef Tom Kerridge and guests Joe Pasquale, Kerry Ellis, Calam Lynch, Fiona Allen, and Baby Queen. Bokinni, who regularly presents on Capital Xtra and BBC Radio 1, was filling in for Simon Rimmer while he was on holiday.
Bokinni received an outpouring of support on Instagram. Strictly star Oti Mabuse, also expecting her second child, commented, "Congratulations darling! Finally, a friend I'll be texting at 2:35am." Former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach wrote, "Ahhh yayyyy congrats," while Davina McCall posted heart emojis. Charley Marlowe added, "Eeeekk, congrats diva!!!"

This is not Bokinni's first time hosting Sunday Brunch; she previously stepped in for Tim Lovejoy in March, earning praise from viewers. The show airs live on Channel 4 and is available to stream on the platform.
