The countdown has officially begun for this year's Strictly Come Dancing as the celebrities taking part in the BBC series are starting to be revealed.
It's that time of year again when the BBC start to announce which celebrities will be taking part in the long-running dance show. Strictly Come Dancing may be off screens until September, but that hasn't stopped the early buzz as three stars have been confirmed as being part of the 2026 cast. This comes ahead of some major changes being made to the staple Saturday night show as Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe will be replacing former presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. There's also been a major shake-up with the professional dancers following the exit of some fan-favourites and the announcement that new additions are on the way. As the rumours are still rife about which celebrities will be joining the line-up, here's a list of the confirmed stars taking part in Strictly Come Dancing 2026.
Lacey Turner
Lacey Turner is best known for her role in EastEnders as Stacey Slater, which she left at the end of 2025. Speaking about joining the show, the actress said: "I am so excited to be making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing! I am a huge fan and can't quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year! I look forward to meeting everyone and learning a new skill!"
Dani Dyer
Love Island star Dani Dyer will be making her way onto the ballroom later on this year. BBC fans would've seen her in last year's line-up as part of the 2025 cast, but she had to withdraw due to an injury before the competition began. Detailing her return, she said: "I am so excited to be back in the ballroom this September! I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one! I'm just over the moon and cannot wait to find out who else is doing it!"
Delta Goodrem
Singer Delta Goodrem recently represented Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest, where she achieved one of the country's best-ever results. Delta commented: "I've been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career - from TV, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world. There is, however, one stage I've never stepped onto, and that is the ballroom floor! I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can't wait to get started!"
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year.
