The series finale of Prime Video's Sterling Point delivered several jaw-dropping revelations, including a major DNA bombshell that changes everything for the characters.
Steven is Ramona's biological father
In the final episode, Annie's secret sister Ramona discovers that Annie's adoptive dad Steven (Jay Duplass) is actually her biological father. Steven and his late wife had adopted Annie and Connor as babies, then had Ramona together. When Steven returned to New York with Annie and Connor, Ramona stayed behind at Sterling Point, leaving Annie gutted.
Oona breaks up with Ramona
Oona (Bo Bragason) ends her relationship with Ramona, fearing Ramona would leave for New York with her newly found father. It breaks Ramona's heart, but Oona believes her girlfriend needs to sort out her family life. Fans will be eager to see if they reunite in a potential second season.
Ramona decides not to sell Sterling Point
Feeling the need for an escape, Ramona considered selling the island, but Annie was against it. Annie tracked down Joe (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who revealed their mother had an undiagnosed heart condition that killed her while giving birth to Ramona. Ultimately, Ramona chose not to sell, and the sisters worked out a solution: Ramona moves to New York to know Steven, while Annie stays at Sterling Point.
Connor contacts his birth parents
Connor had been secretly trying to get in touch with his and Annie's biological parents. Now that he is 18, they agreed to meet him. He has yet to tell Annie, leaving a major development for a possible second season.
Annie chooses Ellis
A love triangle between Annie, Rory (Daniel Quinn-Toye), and Ellis (Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie) resolved when Annie realized her heart belonged to Ellis, Joe's son. After a passionate kiss and an emotional break-up when Annie thought she'd leave, her decision to stay on the island opens the door for their relationship to continue.
