Prime Video has announced that Megan Park's YA series 'Sterling Point' will premiere on August 5, with all eight episodes dropping simultaneously in over 240 countries and territories. The streamer also released two first-look photos from the coming-of-age drama.
Created by Park, known for 'My Old Ass', the series follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin), who is raised in New York City with her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) and adoptive father (Jay Duplass). Her life changes when she inherits her mysterious grandfather's island in Canada, where she discovers new friends, budding romances, and untold family secrets.
The cast includes Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Talifeathers, and Missi Pyle.
'Sterling Point' is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Fake Empire, and LuckyChap. Park serves as director, co-showrunner, and executive producer alongside Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (Fake Empire), as well as Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley (LuckyChap).
