Pregnant Laura Woods Shares Family Snap During World Cup

Pregnant Laura Woods, 38, has taken to Instagram to share sweet family snaps from her time in the USA, where she is covering the FIFA World Cup final for ITV. The sports presenter combined business with family time, sharing unforgettable memories with her fiancé, Adam Collard, and their 19-month-old son, Leo.

Family Moments in the US

Laura shared a video of herself and Adam, along with photos of Leo enjoying the trip. In one snap, she cradles her baby bump before kissing Adam in a loved-up picture. Last week, she joked that the “baby doesn’t know how lucky he is” after Leo attended the Spain vs France World Cup match.

Adam, 30, and Laura went public with their relationship in October 2023. By September 2024, they announced their engagement after a proposal in St Ives, Cornwall.

Open About Miscarriage

Laura has previously opened up about suffering a miscarriage at 11 weeks before falling pregnant with Leo. In a social media post, she described the “confusing” feelings of grief for the lost baby and how Leo helped her find peace. “Sometimes I look at Leo, and I think of the baby we’ll never meet, while also knowing we wouldn’t have Leo without it happening,” she wrote.

She shared advice from a nurse: “This little one wasn’t meant for this world, so this process is its way of keeping you safe.” Laura added, “I thought I’d share that in case there’s anyone reading this that has been affected by miscarriage too. Lots of love.”

Adam’s Perspective

Appearing on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2025, Adam opened up about the loss, admitting he blamed himself. “I know it’s a terrible way to look at it, but I felt like it was bad karma for me being on dating shows and upsetting too many people,” he said. “I felt like this was some higher power’s way of being like, ‘Well there you go, that’s what you have to carry.’ I was just a cocky little p***k, being a love rat, jumping from girl to girl. I want to show I’m not that man anymore.”
