Netflix fans have praised a six-part limited drama series as the perfect binge-watch, and it currently holds a 100 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes. The show is Netflix's limited series, The Survivors. It stars Australian actor Charlie Vickers in the role of Kieran, best known for portraying Sauron in Amazon Prime's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Actress Yerin Ha, who recently shot to prominence for her role as Sophie Beak in the fourth series of Bridgerton, also appears.
Plot and reception
Based on Jane Harper's 2020 novel of the same name, the drama follows Kieran Elliot, who returns to his hometown 15 years after a devastating storm claimed the lives of his brother and his brother's best friend. Around the same time, a young girl also disappears without a trace. As Kieran arrives back in town with his new family, the ghosts of the past begin to resurface, with the death of a young girl threatening to unearth long-buried secrets.
The show premiered on Netflix in June 2025 and currently boasts an impressive 100 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes, with viewers lauding both the plot and characters, noting it "scratches the right spot".

TV reviewer Lamia shared her thoughts on the six-part crime drama series, which she says had her gripped from start to finish. "This show blew my mind. If you are looking for a TV show to binge, this is your sign," Lamia said. She added: "Let me tell you, this show had me like thinking what's gonna happen. It had me on the edge of my seat."
Despite comprising just six episodes, many have also applauded its ability to deliver a compelling and intricate story within a limited timeframe. "It's super twisty turning. It's so, so good," Lamia said. "And I totally recommend if you want a show to binge. It's so good. I love, love, love this."
