Netflix is set to remove a substantial number of movies and TV shows from its library in June 2026. While the streaming service regularly adds new content, it also removes titles without always notifying UK subscribers. This means that items on your watchlist may vanish unexpectedly, including some Netflix Original productions.
The Independent has compiled a complete list of every film and series leaving the platform next month. Among the notable departures is Big Boys, Jack Rooke's Bafta-winning coming-of-age sitcom starring Dylan Llewellyn and Jon Pointing as first-year university students. Based on Rooke's real life, the show ran for three series from 2022 to 2025 and is widely regarded as one of the best sitcoms of the last two decades.
Another title leaving is Copycat, a 1995 psychological thriller starring Sigourney Weaver as Dr. Helen Hudson, a criminal psychologist who develops agoraphobia after a near-fatal encounter with a former subject, Daryll Lee Cullum (Harry Connick Jr.). The plot follows Cullum as he commits copycat murders, with Hudson teaming up with two San Francisco police officers, played by Holly Hunter and Dermot Mulroney, to stop him. Directed by Jon Amiel, the film was a moderate box office success, grossing $79 million on a $27 million budget. It gained a cult following on VHS and is now considered one of the most intelligent and underrated thrillers of the 1990s.
