Meghan Markle's Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan' has earned its first Daytime Emmy nomination, sparking mixed reactions from royal fans. The show, which launched its first season in 2025 alongside the unveiling of Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever, is nominated in the Outstanding Lifestyle Programme category.

The series will compete against NBC's 'George to the Rescue,' Hallmark's 'The Motherhood,' 'The Wizard of Paws,' and 'A Different Breed.' Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 30. According to the announcement, the nomination marks Meghan's first Daytime Emmy recognition.
Fan Criticism
Despite the nomination, some fans expressed disappointment. One user on X said: 'Tell me without telling me that there are almost zero shows to compete in this category. ‘With Love, Meghan’ was the antithesis of entertainment. It was an abysmal, boring slog at best and getting through one episode was painful.' Another agreed: 'I had the same thought. The nomination sounds more impressive until you look at what it’s actually competing against. My vote is for Wizard of Paws just because the name is cool!'
A third critic blasted: 'This is absurd!! That show was bad.' A fourth commented: 'Yikes! It was terrible! The second one was even worse. The only one that was halfway (and I’m being generous) decent was the Christmas one. A couple of the ideas were good.' Another user said: 'This is hysterical!!!!
