Marshals Season 2: Release Date and Episode Count

Fans of the Yellowstone prequel series Marshals have reason to celebrate as production for season two has officially kicked off. The show, which airs on CBS and Paramount+, quickly became a ratings hit after its debut in March 2026.

When Will Marshals Season 2 Be Released?

CBS has confirmed that Marshals will return as part of the 2026-2027 season. According to Deadline, the new season is expected to premiere in the fall, with October being the most likely month. The show will retain its Sunday evening slot at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, meaning UK viewers can stream new episodes on Paramount+ the following Monday morning.

How Many Episodes Will Season 2 Have?

Unlike the first season, which consisted of 13 episodes, season two will be significantly longer. During SXSW, star Logan Marshall-Green revealed that the episode count is still being finalized but will likely be either 18 or 20 episodes. This full-season order reflects the network's confidence in the show, which attracted over 20 million viewers per episode in its first season.
