Return to City
Maresca said he feels 'back home' and 'very good' since day one. He also sent a message of support to Kevin Keegan's family.

Maresca confirmed there is 'always something to do' in the transfer window but said the club is 'in the process.' He noted that Elliot Anderson has signed and Phil Foden has agreed a new contract.
Following Guardiola
Maresca called it a 'privilege' to follow Guardiola, whom he considers 'probably the best coach in the world in the last 20, 25 years.' He expressed confidence in the club's structure, noting three managers in 17 years.
Rodri's Future
Maresca said speculation around Rodri is normal after his World Cup win, but he expects Rodri to have surgery on Monday, rest, and then return to the club.

Maresca declined to comment on Chelsea's statement following his appointment, saying he feels 'lucky' about his former clubs but is focused on City.
Full Squad Training
The last group of players will join three or four days before the Community Shield final. Currently, Maresca is working with many young players, which he is happy about.
Jack Grealish and James Trafford
Maresca said Grealish is a City player and it is his duty to coach him. He has a good relationship with Grealish. Regarding Trafford, Maresca said he knows him well from the under-23s but noted that anything can happen while the transfer window is open.

Maresca aims to be 'aggressive off the ball, control the game, and win games.' He acknowledged the need to adapt to changes in the Premier League, such as set pieces and man-to-man tactics.

Maresca referenced Guardiola's instruction to Donnarumma to go long to Haaland as a possible solution but stressed the need for multiple approaches.
