Pamela Anderson has denied that her relationship with Liam Neeson is a PR stunt, following rumours that they are dating. The pair co-star in the new Naked Gun reboot, released on August 1, and have been the subject of speculation about off-screen chemistry.
Speaking at the 51st Deauville American Film Festival in France, Anderson said: 'I do not and will never feed into PR stunts. That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love.' She added that while she will 'fall in love again and again on screen', her romantic life is private.
Reports from TMZ had alleged that the relationship was manufactured to promote the film, claiming the actors did not see each other between filming in June 2024 and the press tour in July 2025. However, insiders told People that 'neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt' and that they 'have a real connection.'
The film's writers, Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, described a 'very strange love scene' between the stars, which they said may be the 'strangest sex scene' Neeson has ever filmed. The scene reportedly involved a snowman, and Neeson admitted the sex scenes were his favourite to film, noting that an intimacy coordinator was present but 'knew when to walk away.'
Anderson previously stated she is 'much happier' on her own but acknowledged that she and Neeson 'just like each other.' Neeson told Extra that their friendship 'grew naturally' without being forced.
