Liam Gallagher has vowed to follow in the footsteps of George Clooney and Pierce Brosnan by fully embracing his silver fox era. The 53-year-old Oasis frontman says he will give the Hollywood icon a run for his money by proudly showing off his greying locks and signs of aging.
Denies eyeliner and hair dye claims
Replying to a fan on X who suggested otherwise, Liam fired back: "I’ve never worn eyeliner in my life are you lot OK." He also denied Noel's claim that he has been dyeing his hair, writing: "I’ve never dyed my hair either bumbaseed." Liam admitted he had experimented with highlights but insisted he wants to become a silver fox like Clooney, 65. He added: "I have had a few little cheeky streaks but I’ve never dyed it coz I’m going grey and wanna keep my youthful looks I’m not a c*** I’ll embrace my silver fox period."
Gifts iconic jacket to son Gene
During the discussion about his image, Liam revealed he gave his son Gene, 25, his iconic bomber jacket with the sheepskin collar. He tweeted: "Gene has it but he can’t pull it off like I did so it just hangs there in his wardrobe waiting for his daddy to come and rescue him."
Oasis tour rumours
Oasis are rumoured to tour next year with a Manchester residency reportedly on the cards. An insider previously told Manchester Evening News: "It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy. They could even add more dates to that as well, there's talk of up to 20. The wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth."
