LEGO Unveils First Shrek Sets for 25th Anniversary

LEGO has officially confirmed its first-ever Shrek sets, unveiled to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the beloved DreamWorks franchise. The two sets will launch in the UK on June 1, 2026, and are available for pre-order now.

LEGO Shrek Sets: What's Included?

The larger set, Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots (72423), is priced at £109.99 and contains 1,403 pieces. Designed for adults aged 18 and over, it features posable brick-built versions of Shrek and Donkey standing on a swamp-themed base. The set also includes the first-ever Puss in Boots minifigure, along with a "Beware Ogre" sign, sunflowers, and an onion. A section of Shrek's stomach can be removed to reveal Easter eggs such as a tiny onion and a cookie.

The smaller set, 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy BrickHeadz, costs £19.99 and includes 260 pieces. It features collectible stylised figures of Shrek, Donkey, and Gingy the Gingerbread Man. Shrek holds a small "Beware Ogre" sign, and all three figures boast printed elements.
