Kim Kardashian 'steals F1 star's towel' before Hamilton sprays her

Kim Kardashian got caught up in the champagne celebrations after the Monaco Grand Prix, but not before she appeared to steal an F1 star's towel. The 45-year-old reality TV superstar was in Monte Carlo last weekend to cheer on Lewis Hamilton. It was the first time Kim had been seen at a race since rumours of her blossoming romance with the seven-time world champion emerged.

Hamilton finished in second place, climbing to second in the World Championship. He embraced Kim in Parc Ferme before heading to the podium to celebrate alongside race winner Kimi Antonelli and Red Bull's Isack Hadjar.

Kim's Podium Antics

Kim had taken her place next to the Ferrari mechanics after watching the race beside Charles Leclerc's wife Alexandra. However, she had little to celebrate as the Monegasque crashed out of his home race. On the way to the celebrations, Kim and her entourage walked past the podiums placed for the top three in Parc Ferme. A video posted to X showed the billionaire model and entrepreneur swiping a towel from Antonelli's podium.

Fans reacted to the clip on social media. One user spotted: "Kim Kardashian just used the little towel set aside for Antonelli to use after the race." A second said: "Of course she knew, dude, she saw that number 1 there and didn't miss the media opportunity..." A third fumed: "That's for the winner honey, F1 ain't winning with her around." While another added: "Way too clueless, ffs."

Champagne Shower

It is unclear why Kim snatched the towel that was not meant for her. However, if she was planning ahead for Hamilton's podium celebration, she might not be as naïve as people think. After the podium ceremony, where Hamilton blew a playful kiss in Kim's direction, the drivers and Toto Wolff sprayed each other with champagne. Given the close proximity of the podium to the teams below, Kim was caught in the crossfire. Her hair became covered in foam, and some champagne landed on the front of her dress, leaving visible damp patches.

Hamilton was able to keep his nerve and enjoy Kim's support as he claimed a second successive second-place finish, moving above former Mercedes teammate George Russell in the drivers' standings. F1 heads to Barcelona this week, and it remains to be seen whether Kim will make the trip to Catalunya to support her boyfriend.
