Charlotte Kirk Reveals Katie Price's True Colors on Set of Jackie the Stripper
Katie Price's Co-Star Reveals Her True Colors on Set

Actress and screenwriter Charlotte Kirk, who worked closely with Katie Price on the upcoming thriller Jackie the Stripper, has exclusively revealed the reality star's true colors within minutes of meeting her on set. The film, directed by Michael Head, centers on Jackie and her band of female vigilante assassins who plot to kill members of a male-dominated court.

Kirk, who also co-wrote the script, described Price as someone who knows how to work the camera and handle herself in front of the lens. During an interview with Express.co.uk, Kirk paused to recall the moment and said: "I was there that day, I think she only acted with me. Yeah she was... you know, how to work the camera. She knows what to do."

Katie Price's Role and Performance

Price portrays Lisa, a character tasked with teaching women at a strip club how to dance. In the trailer, she is seen telling one of the strippers, played by Kirk, that they are stronger than they think. According to Kirk, Price had approximately four lines in the film. Kirk commented: "She's new at this, she's not...you'll see."

The interview room fell into a moment of silence as Kirk reflected further before adding: "Very random, but she was good, I guess. If I was her, you know, coming in and [the film set can be] quite intimidating. She did. She was good, she held her own."

Director's Praise and Co-Star Insights

Director Michael Head has also personally praised Price's acting abilities. He wrote on social media: "Katie Price was brilliant to work with and gives a great performance. Bring on Jackie 2!"

The cast also includes Pussycat Doll singer Kimberly Wyatt, Harry Potter star James Phelps, and Emmerdale star Patsy Kensit. Wyatt previously spoke to Express.co.uk about her intense preparation for her role as a barmaid, which involved a fight scene. She utilized her dance experience and kickboxing skills to perfect the stunt. Wyatt said: "It was pretty intense, but I was well up for it."

Wyatt also recalled her recovery from a hip replacement surgery two and a half years ago, describing the experience as "dreadful." She shared: "I had no quality of life, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't walk. I was limping, continuing to work, and I kept it from everybody. But I have rehabbed it, and I will continue to rehab it, and I do have to consider it as I warm myself up for performances and always listen to my body."

Premiere and Public Appearances

The movie premiered in Leicester Square, but Price was notably absent from the event. Despite this, her co-stars and director have spoken positively about her contribution to the film. Kirk's comments provide a rare insight into Price's on-set behavior, offering a balanced view of the reality star's transition into acting.
